Abstract

The article researches the problem of spiritual unity of the entire man-

kind which is explicitly demonstrated in the context of perception of such an important source of spirituality as art, in particular, the art of declamation. Reading works of art, an individual creates his own world that allows him to enrich real life with existential meaning, create his life space and effectively use his personal capabilities for self-realisation.

Fascinating influence of poetry on the way an individual perceives the world around him promotes creation of personal space of meaning-making as an environment for self-study. This is supported by examples of the anthology of Japanese poetry Man'yeshu. It is emphasized that Asian nations are distinguished by a special and unique inner world, and a modern concept of «Unified Asia» has a right to exist.
