Several aspects of organization and development of Korean theater in Kazakhstan

Abstract

Offered article – pages of history of organization and development of the State Republican Korean theater of the musical comedy – the first Korean national theater in the territory of Kazakhstan. The article tells about the first actors, playwrights of the theater who managed to keep and realize the best models of folklore on stage. The article researches the stages of development of theater, starting from the Far East, deportation to Kazakhstan. The theater was created by forces of the Russian Koreans which ancestors, back in the sixties of the XIX century «digested coastal areas of the Russian Primorye». It is noteworthy that during the Far East period, between 1932-1937, before deportation, Koreans «based on a habitual lifestyle, continued to follow the traditions which have settled throughout centuries». Koreans arranged the mass celebrations which were of theatrical nature. It is noteworthy that the dance prevailed in the show because «the art of dance is the embodiment of national spirit of the Korean people. … Dance concentrated the main features of national culture... « of Korean people. The article also considers the «Legend on the Girl Chong Hyan» performance created on the basis of the classical Korean epos and which is consistent in the repertoire of the Korean theater from the date of its foundation and which is the calling card of the theater.
