Abstract

The authors analyze the relevance of the first Muslim schools, madrassas in Islam propaganda in China among ethnic minorities who accepted Islam. Educational programs in Chinese madrasah were implemented according to the strategy policy of the Communist party of China. In the acquisition of Islamic literacy among the Kazakh population of China the Ahmet Baitursynuly alphabet played a major role. From 1950 with reorganization of the social structure in China the traditional social structure of Kazakhs also were changed.
