Methodological features of the study of transitional society

Abstract

The article shows that the transition of the former Soviet republics is an organic part of the natural process of transformation of traditional societies to modern (post-modern) forms of organisation and development in line with global democratic wave. The paper discusses the optimal combination of methods and principles study of new socio-political and socio-political changes that emerged as a result of the parish in place of the traditions of market relations. The changes applied to the Western model of socio-political transformation of society, a competitive democracy, market economy, welfare state, mass consumption society, standards and values of life.
