Social policy as a tool in providing stability in Kazakhstan

Article is devoted to the policy of Kazakhstan in the field of social
development and social security, as the system of the actions directed on
improvement of quality of life and prevention of social tension.
Authors claim that sustainable development of economy allowed considerably
raising the standard of living of Kazakhstan citizens, to provide
reforming of the labor relations and employment of the population, transition
to a funded pension system, introduction of new types of social
benefits, creation of address system of rendering the social help. In article
there are used the results of sociological researches, the conducted expert
survey, testifying the positive attitude of the population to the policy in the
sphere of social security. There are defined the problems which negatively
influence social well-being of Kazakhstan citizens and, despite the difficulties
of the current period (adverse external conditions in the world markets
of energy resources and metals), they demand the fastest decision.
