Abstract

Abstract: In this article the main issues of development of Muslim countries are considered. Also, the role of Islam as a base of political changes and integration possibilities in the above mentioned region is pointed out. Author of the article analyzes the key issues and problems of the integration and evolution processes in the Middle East region. Author of this report presents his own analysis of the past and present of development of Muslim World. Besides, the writer forecasts the future of integration of the Arabic countries on the base of religious, geographic, historical and cultural identities. The basic obstacle before implementing of the integration processes in the Middle East region is absence of a leader that could unify the Muslim countries under the religious and historical values. However, Turkey or Egypt or Saudi Arabia are considered by the experts as key possible powers that could pretend to be a new leader of The Muslim World against the modern challenges.
