The School of Artistic Gesture as a polygon of new art

Abstract

The article deals with the experience of new names generating in the contemporary art of Central Asia. As a polygon of this process might be overview an educational and exhibition project of the School of Artistic Gesture,which was materializedduring the summer of 2016 as part of the International Festival of public art ARTBAT FEST 7 in Almaty. The program for young artists as an educational module format was realized for the first time in the history of the festival.The author, asa curator of the project examines it in details, makes sense of its conceptual and structural features. Article records important to the development of contemporary art practice of interaction between different generations of artists in the region, as well as considering the possibility of artistic education module for the regeneration of the urban environment.
