The article examines the features of the state migration policy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, its key directions, problems and prospects. The relevance of the topic is due to the growth of migration processes in the context of globalization and their impact on the socio-economic and political development of the country. Kazakhstan, being at the crossroads of Europe and Asia, is both a transit, receiving and sending country for migrants.
The paper analyzes the main causes of migration, including socio-economic, political and demographic factors, and identifies existing challenges: illegal migration, leakage of qualified personnel, problems of adaptation and integration of migrants, social tension and insufficient effectiveness of control over migration flows.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of state policy in the field of migration, its regulatory framework and institutional mechanisms. The programs for the repatriation of ethnic Kazakhs, attracting migrant workers and countering illegal migration are considered.
