Korkut and ethic ideals and norms of the medieval turkic culture (based on analysis of materials of the stories of «Book of my grandfather Korkut»)

Abstract

The article heritage of Korkut is considered in the context of ideological maintenance of cycle stories of Oguz heroic epos, which well-known under the name «Book of my grandfather Korkut». It is underlined in the article, that ideological life of turkic people in the stories of «Book of my grandfather Korkut» finds a reflection in that archaic form, what was folded at time of life of legendary singer-storyteller. The author of the article is underline the heroic spirit of pre-islamicturkic culture. The value of heroic ideals of turkic culture of the time of living Korkut is distinguished as collective cultural experience of the past reproduced in spiritual life of representative of the modern turkic world. In the article the value of ideals and values of turkic culture registers as codes of cultural experience of the past, allowing to the representatives of the turkic world to identify itself with history and culture of turkic people.
