National identity in the mirror of fate the people and the dignity of the nation

Abstract

The main purpose of the article is the need to study the phenomenon of national identity. The formulation and implementation of this goal are implemented in three research blocks, which represent not only various and specific aspects of national identity, but also related subject and conceptual areas. These blocks are defined and reviewed according to the main sections of the article.: 1) the correlation of the concepts of nation and national identity is analyzed; the objective connection and the nature of the determination of national identity by the fate of the people are revealed.; National identity is considered as a complex, multidimensional phenomenon and at the same time as a holistic and integrative education. 2) the features of the interrelation of national identity and national way of world perception are revealed, the degree and nature of their interdependence and interdependence are determined; national identity is characterized through the prism of the imperative of recognition and respect for national dignity, it is defined as a universal attribute based on the inner value of people (personality and nation as a whole). 3) the root causes of the December 1986 events in Kazakhstan, which became an irrefutable historical example of an open and democratic defense of the national dignity of the people and their national identity, are thoroughly and comprehensively examined; it is shown that the lessons of forty years ago, learned from those dramatic events, now continue to retain their instructive and significant character in interethnic and international relations.. 
The research methodology is based on a variety of approaches to the consideration of the phenomenon of national identity. The work uses both traditional and modern methods, many of which are interdisciplinary in nature, as needed and appropriate, including implicitly. 
The article provides conclusions reflecting the scientific significance and original content of the research in the following aspects: the unity of national identity and the fate of the people; the specifics of the relationship between national identity and national way of worldview; the objective relationship of national identity and national dignity.
